Umm, where'd the weekend go??

Why is Monday so far away from Friday??

Had an awesome weekend:)

Despite the crappy time change. grrr!

Friday, duh the Hacienda with my Katie (#1) and out on the town.

Had a lil thing called Fireball Whiskey, basically Christmas in your mouth!

I hate cinnamon, but this was amaze!

It was a late night, but sleeping in Saturday was heaven!!
&
I made friends with the taxi driver. At least I think I did...
Someone may have decided to lay down in the driveway and had to be convinced to get up because I was cold and wanted inside.



Then Saturday we went to the Enduro Cross Races.

Gavin loved it and loved his new friend he made #4 that kept giving him cotton candy.

Apparently he didn't find the apples, oranges and goldfish I packed in my purse appetizing #3.

The track was crazy #2, I was exhausted just watching them go around and around. The crashes were pretty awesome! Gavin only had to go to the bathroom 45 million times...

And then to top the night off, we went thru the VIP section outside and were locked in.

We had to climb the fence to get out. I've never had to climb out of somewhere.

As I was climbing the fence the scene from Jurassic Park where the fence gets electrified went through my head.

Im ready for this weekend now!

I've got a lil something friday early and a my super best friend Sara is coming in to town. It's basically the last time she will be out on the town "single" before her wedding in May. Which I'm in. And I will need to get my tan on soon so I don't look see through.

1.  My favorite room in my home is   my bedroom because  my bed is snuggly.

2.   My current decor style is   rustic/shabby chic  .  but I wish it were more     modern...just a bit. Not something I can just change tho. I love exposed brick and conduit, concrete floors and open spaces. Someday...

3.  I wish I could redecorate the     my closet     room in my house to make it more     organized!

4. My dream house absolutely has to have a   a fireplace, huge walk in closet, wrap around deck, giant backyard, pizza stove, wood floors and character:)

5. One house item I am willing to splurge on is   a bed! I want a bigger, comfier (itsaword) bed! I am horrible at sleep and I know if my bed was more comfy it would help me sleep better!

6. A decor trend that I just don't "get" is   Hmmm, to each his own. I don't think there's something I don't like...

7.  The smell of food cooking, children playing and laughter  is a little touch that makes my house feel like home

Dear Comfy Bed: Thanks for being so snuggly last night! Probably the best nights sleep in a while! Dear Coffee: You are amazing first thing when I get up! How have I not discovered this before??? Dear 75 Degree Weather: Please stay for a long time! I'm ready to play in the sunshine! Dear Snow: You were pretty on Monday, but sadly I would prefer 75* and sunshine over you. Sorry we are breaking up. No hard feelings tho, k?? Dear Weekend: Why do you take so long to get here?? Dear Gavin: I love playing race cars with you in the sunshine and seeing how fast you can run. I'm sure your elbows play a huge part in that! Dear Food: I'm over you hurting my tummy each time I eat. I've tried the whole not eating thing and it's not working for me. My tummy gurgled all night:( Dear Smile: thanks for coming back, I missed you! Dear Laundry: I'm sure you will come to life any second as the pile is taller than me currently. Please feel free to throw yourself in the washer, dryer and then fold and hang yourself up. :) Dear Doughnut: you tasted like horrible the other day, I'm glad I promptly got rid of you! Read about that here Don't want to waste those calories on something that tastes bad! Seriously! Dear Friends: Thanks for putting up with me when I am sad or grumpy. Dear monkey: You are my sunshine!

Savory, nothing beats a delicious meal!

Plus I'm not really a sweets person, minus the mocha frappacino ice cream I consumed last night & the doughnut I ate then quickly threw back up because it tasted like a porno and smelled like sweaty balls. Learn about that

I hate confined spaces, but love the water! I'll live in a bubble under the water, just call me Sandy from Spongebob! I watch too many cartoons...

That's a toughie... I love the mountains but would love to live in the tropics..

4. Would you rather live with chronic pain or the worst pain you can imagine for 24 hours?
I survived childbirth with the epidural only covering half of my body and no amount of heart medicine could lower my heart rate and I lived. I choose worst pain in 24 hours!

5. If you had to repeat one of these again, which would it be? Preschool, Elementary, Jr High/ Middle School, High School, College.
Preschool! I am supa good at finger painting!!!

6. Tribal, Floral, Stripes, or Polka Dots?
Polky dots! i love them!!

7. Are you right handed or left handed?
Mostly righty, but my lefty is super strong!

Overwhelmed

To be honest, I don't know if I'll post this...

I'm overwhelmed with life right now, and I don't know why.

I get up every morning at the same time, get my son ready, take him to the sitters, go to work, pick my son up, go home, make dinner, watch TV and read books, then bedtime.

I do this every single day.

I have great friends, family and a job.

I feel guilty for feeling unhappy.

So I fake it.

Pictures can be deceiving.

Everyone compliments me on how happy I look...

I'm crying on the inside.

I obsess over little things that I could have, should have or would have done differently.

That's no way to live.
What if?

My usual answer when someone asks how I am, I'm fine.

They don't want to hear you complain.

They either don't care and are being polite or they relish in the fact that you are unhappy.

I know I have amazing friends that are there to lift me up.

But I don't want to burden them with my problems...

Well, I did it this weekend & I loved it!

I think the trick was not wearing too much eye makeup.

I was self conscious the entire time, checking my teeth:/

I think there was only one peecature

of me smiling.

I was gonna take this list up to 10 but my head hurts and Im gonna go lay down in the fetal position whilst sucking my thumb.
