Mom, I want to do that one thing that ends with Amen...

My boy is usually in bed by 8:30. 

On school nights and this is pretty much 

on his own accord.

He tells me he's tired and crawls into bed. 

Amazing, right??

I owe it to his school, I don't know what they do all day but he is exhausted when he gets home. 

Tonight he asked me as he was crawling into bed if we could do that one thing that ends in Amen. 

I wanted him to remember so I asked him what he meant. 

He said, we say dear God and then amen and then next time won't you sing with me. 

He doesn't like when I laugh because he thinks I'm making fun of him 

so, I kept the giggles to myself. 

I asked him if he meant praying??

He said yes, that's it! 

I told him the prayer I use to say at night and it sounded kind of morbid.

So he told me to google it... 

Yes, he did!

I found the one at the top and liked it much more! 

We prayed for ama, papa, me and sean to sleep good. 

When I asked him who else he proceeded with a list. 

We then prayed for joy, josh, sabrina, squish, makennon, buddha, andrea, javen and josh again. 

Because he's big and needs extra help sleeping:)

Basically, the group we hang out with on the regular and their kids. 

He was then out in less than five minutes.

I am left in awe at this lil guy! 

I love that I switched him in schools and that he is learning and retaining all of this information.

Of course, some days, when I ask him what he did at school he responds with "I don't know"

I love that lil man more than anything:)

My heart is happy tonight!

Boyfriend got a local job!!!
He's home every night!
I can stop having a relationship with my phone:)
That makes my heart happy too, a lot!

Right now, I have a friend that is probably in a tremendous amount of pain. 

She is probably exhausted and feels like her body can't push (literally) much longer. 

I've been sending her good thoughts all day. 

Hoping she would be out of this pain, because as soon as she's done,

she is going to experience the purest love ever. 

She will lay her eyes on the most perfect creation that she will ever see. 

And, not instantly, but eventually she will forget the pain. 

I'm still waiting for mine to fade away...

She will realize the sleepless nights before the baby were totally worth it. 

The sleepless nights to come will be long and tiring, but she wouldn't trade it for the world. 

Sending good thoughts and prayers your way Jessie!

I got to hold my friends almost 4 month old baby this weekend. 

To say I got baby fever is a little extreme.

But I didn't want to let him go. 

The way they look at you out of curiosity, I love it. 

The way they smell and how warm and cuddly they are. 

There's nothing better in the world.

Seeing a 4 month old makes me realize how big my almost four year old is!

He won't let me rock him to sleep anymore, he says it's weird.

The other day he asked me not to kiss him in front of his friends at school. 

I still did, while he kicked and screamed. 

Then he whispered "love you mom" and my heart melted. 

The love I have for that kid, makes the world go round.
Will I ever have enough love for another one??
Maybe, but for now, I'll rely on my friends to get cuddle time with the babes.

Don't grow up littles, stay small and cute;)

I had an amazing weekend! 

I had both my boys the whole time! 

I feel a little spoiled, but I am thankful for every minute I get to spend with them. 

Saturday morning we got up bright and early to go to a garage sale. 

Umm, wow, we're getting old!!

my guy bought a vacuum...

Then we had breakfast and decided to head to the beach. 

It was supposed to be a scorcher here, so the beach only an 1 1/2 away is a blessing

We had a beautiful day, beautiful weather and some pretty ahhhmazing shrimp tacos and a sourdough bread bowl filled with steaming clam chowder!! 

We went tide pooling (we made sure we were at low tide)
Found crabs and sea stars. The boys took their shirts off bc that's what you do at the beach.
As I'm helping gavin climb the rocks, once he's stable he would turn around and make sure to help me:)
I have such an amazing lil man!
I hope I can mold him into a good man that will always treat a woman with respect!

After we ate, we drove home and were trying to decide what to do later that night with friends.
A nap sounded like a good idea.
Hindsight, we should have showered before climbing into bed.
We also should have realized a nap at 8pm isn't really a nap...
We woke up 12 hours later.
haha!

& today!
We did exciting stuff like grocery shopping and laundry!
We threw in a lunch of some home made shrimp tacos (we didn't get enough yesterday) made by my guy and watched Horton hears a Who.
Which is pretty dang funny!!
I might have napped thru part of it:/
What, full belly and hot outside makes a perfect combo!!

and now, back to reality of work and school!!

Dear Olympics, wow! I am amazed at all the talent out there! and kinda shocked at the table tennis, really???
