Focus, Focus, Focus...

I've been having trouble focusing lately...

Staying on track.

I thought I had allergies last week, I was trying to convince myself that's what it was.

It wasn't. I had a cold, combined with, well, that time of the month.

I was a grump, lost my smile and didn't want to be around anyone.

TMI, tough. That's me.

I didn't feel like taking the time to write a post. So, an Easter post didn't happen.

The Easter bunny hid eggs and we had a delish ham dinner.

The usual. The weather isn't helping either. The clouds and rain, I'm over it. I want summer here.

I replied with I don't need a guy to pay my bills, just someone to make me scrambled eggs, tell me I'm pretty and to be nice to me. Doesn't seem like to much too ask. Self sufficient is nice too. One of my friends referred to that as the mythical unicorn. Good thing I like fairy tales. One of my friends put the same photo on her facebook and she had a  guy "friend" full on attack her and say she just wants a man for his money... Good thing she's a spitfire and fired right back. :)

I put this up this morning. Like I said I've been struggling, isolating myself from people. I'm the girl that will say everything is fine when it's not. I came across this quote this morning. Fitting because  I've had a few friends who have lost loved ones to cancer recently. Then I feel selfish. I'm blessed with this life, my son and we are both healthy. Why am I complaining??

I am for the most part. I've been told it's hard to figure out what I'm thinking. I don't understand that. My poker face sucks. 

If I get quiet, that's when you worry. I always have something to say. Lately, I haven't.

We were bored.

Dear Weekend, lets have some fun:) Sunshine, farmers market and maybe some hot tubbing! Dear Gavin, Im over the tantrums. Please save your drama for your... wait, not your mama! Dear Eggs, thanks for each one of you for cracking. Granted my son dropping them didn't help. Something was seriously wrong with the purple dye one. It came out looking like poop. No joke, Gavin wanted to throw it away... Dear Bed, Lets sleep good this weekend. I could use it! Dear Sunshine, You are beautiful and I love you and you are making things bloom. Which makes me sneeze, ugg! Don't go away! Dear Monkey, I love when you tell me I'm your favorite! Im sure you tell everyone that and Im okay with it:) Dear Britt Festival, Thank you for having some awesome guests this year!! I am so excited to see Gavin Degraw August 30th! I can' t wait:)!!!  Dear Friend, Why is the week so long and the weekends so short. I hate that they end so fast... and Im glad I have a lot of minutes on my phone. Kinda, sorta... okay, alot!

I'm totally gonna steal from another bloggers idea and say holding my breath the longest!
I've always loved swimming and it would be so much easier, not breathing!

My mom fed me cow tongue once, escargot (for extra credit points in a cooking class) and I'm sure I ate dog or cat or rat when I was in Morocco, Africa... I don't want to think about it.

Easter Eggies!

I swear Easter was moved up this year...
It snuck right up on me!
Today is my half day soooooo, we are dying us some Easter eggs today!
I'm super excited!
It reminds me of when I was little and my seester and I would fight over finding the eggs.
Then we would count them to make sure who officially won the Easter egg hunt.
Eggs may have been thrown, crushed or stomped on at this point.
It wasn't me...
I would also like to borrow a bunny for my son to play with and take adorable pics with, anyone?
Chicks will do too! Baby chicks not like girls dressed up as bunnies, hmmm... He might like that.

I woke up this morning, not wanting to get out of bed.
Okay, every morning I don't want to get out of bed...
I hate/despise/loathe mornings almost as much as I hate/despise/loathe walmart.
